Outsourced IT support · for UK SMEs

Outsourced IT support, without the overhead

Fully managed IT services that feel embedded rather than remote. You get named people who understand the business and take ongoing responsibility for support, systems, suppliers, security and the work needed to keep improving them.

Common situation

You already have an IT provider, but seem to spend a lot of time managing them.

Managed IT services with clear ownership

The point of outsourcing IT is to remove an operational burden, not add another supplier to manage. That only works when your provider understands the context, owns work through to completion and explains what is happening without hiding behind process.

Embedded

Known by name

Your team deals with people who know the environment and its history, not a rotating queue that asks the same questions each time.

Accountable

One complete view

Support, suppliers, security, licences and projects are considered together, with clear ownership when work crosses boundaries.

Independent

Advice without a quota

Recommendations fit your team and budget. There is no compulsory product stack and no commission-led prescription.

The function, not just the helpdesk

Unlike a support-only service, outsourced IT makes one partner accountable for the operational whole. The exact boundary is documented, including what stays with your team and how suppliers, projects and decisions are handled.

  • A clear front door for supportOne dependable route for everyday questions, incidents and requests, handled in plain English.
  • Operational administrationAccounts, licences, devices, joiners, leavers, suppliers and recurring work kept orderly.
  • Proactive maintenanceUpdates, access reviews, device health and emerging risks handled before they disrupt the team.
  • Projects and changeOffice moves, migrations, rollouts, network work and new tools sequenced around the working day.
  • Security foundationsMFA, identity, device controls, policies, recovery planning and practical risk reduction.
  • Strategy and budgetRegular reviews, vendor decisions and a roadmap that connects technology spend to business plans.

Transfer

Access and ownership move carefully, urgent weaknesses are contained, and the team gets a clear way to ask for help.

Settle

We document, simplify and improve in a practical order while keeping everyday support steady throughout.

Before you outsource

Is outsourced IT the same as managed IT services?

The terms often describe the same recurring model. Here, both mean that one external team is accountable for the agreed day-to-day IT function—including support, systems, suppliers, security, projects and planning—rather than simply reacting when something breaks.

How is this different from business IT support?

Business IT support provides end-user help and routine administration while somebody in your business retains overall ownership. Outsourced IT makes us accountable for the broader function: support, suppliers, security, change and planning.

How is this different from fractional IT leadership?

Outsourced IT is primarily an operating model: the external team runs the function. Fractional IT leadership is primarily a leadership model: a senior part-time owner directs existing colleagues and suppliers, with delivery added where needed.

Can you work alongside an internal IT person?

Yes. Responsibilities are mapped explicitly so we can own everyday operations and specialist work while your colleague keeps the business context and any areas they prefer to retain.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

No locked-in long-term contract is required. Ongoing support uses a clear monthly arrangement, with scope, cost and exit terms agreed before work begins.
