Who this notice is for
This notice explains how Tech Therapy handles personal information when you visit this website, contact us or book a consultation. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@techtherapy.co.uk.
What we collect
Depending on how you contact us, we may receive your name, work email address, phone number, organisation, meeting preferences and anything you include in an enquiry or booking.
Our hosting provider may also process routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access to operate and secure the website.
Why we use it
- To respond to enquiries and arrange consultations.
- To take steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, and to deliver agreed services.
- To administer, secure and improve our business and website.
- To keep records required for accounting, legal or regulatory purposes.
We rely on steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, and legal obligations where they apply.
Booking with SavvyCal
When you open the booking interface, SavvyCal, Inc. processes the information you enter to arrange the meeting. SavvyCal operates from the United States and describes its international-transfer safeguards in its privacy notice. You can avoid the booking service by emailing us instead.
Sharing and transfers
We may use service providers for hosting, email, scheduling and business administration. They may process information only to provide those services. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators or public authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.
Where a provider processes information outside the UK, we expect the provider to use an applicable adequacy arrangement or contractual safeguard.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, including follow-up on an enquiry, delivery of services, resolving disputes, and applicable accounting or legal requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us to access, correct, erase, restrict or transfer your personal information, or object to how it is used. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
We do not use personal information from this website for solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Cookies and measurement
Tech Therapy does not use advertising cookies or website analytics on this site. SavvyCal may use cookies needed to operate its booking interface after you open it; its own notice explains those cookies.
This notice should be reviewed whenever the website, service providers or handling of personal information changes.
